A bit about me
The Le Family
We are a family run by love, laughter, and a whole mess of indecisive decisions when it comes to food.
About Me
My story started when I had this desperation to really want to be artistic. Growing up, I could not draw to save my life. I definitely tried, and it was awful. It wasn’t until much later in life that I realized all these small moments I had growing up with mentors, friends, family that believed in my aspiration was actually the starting point to my wedding videography and photography career. I’ve learned in the last 8+ years, that life is fleeting. My wife will tell you I am most definitely the more emotional one, and I was definitely the first to say “I love you”. Learning to be openly vulnerable with myself, and with people, is what gives me the most joy and attentiveness when shooting a wedding. I can create while documenting simultaneously, completely uninhibited and free to make art while also making memories for clients.
There’s no illusion to me that social media has persuaded us to digest media in such a lethargic way that we can miss the real purpose of why we even care. Sure, it’s nice to have the likes and comments. We live in a time that we haven’t quite figured out what is this new way of digital scrap booking that allows us to reflect on our memories in not just photo form, but in video form and everything in between. My challenge to you, is to remember to slow down. While documenting the moments matter, experiencing them matters just as much as well. It’s experience that gives those moments life.
I know there’s a lot of photographers and videographers out there, and you’re probably overwhelmed and trying to make the best decision possible. All I can say is that you should always go with your heart. Just know that whatever decision you choose, I truly hope that your life is enriched by the images and films you’ve seen here, and you leave feeling inspired to love harder, and to experience the love that is yet to come.
